particular budget in mind, Relative Strangers will carry out as much research as possible within
that.
Relative
Strangers can search the General
Register Office BMD index of Births, Marriages or Deaths (from 1837) for the
required event and obtain an official GRO England or Wales Birth, Marriage or
Death Certificate for you.
Official UK birth
Marriage and death certificates obtained for you.
Search conducted
within 2 working days. Certificates subject to Registry Office delivery
times.

(credit/debit card), by Cheque (UK only) or Sterling Postal Order
Overseas orders

If they are obtained individually we charge the following
rates, in advance, which covers the cost to us, our research time and p&p:

GRO Certificates – up to five year search

GRO Certificates – up to ten year search

If we are unable to find the appropriate census return then
the full fee still applies, as we will have spent time researching it.
The method of payment can be arranged to suit the client’s
preference, wherever possible. The client can restrict the costs to be incurred, by
establishing a cost ceiling.
The timescale for completing the work obviously depends on
the scope of the project, however, Relative Strangers estimates a research time of around 2 weeks per generation. Relative Strangers will keep you regulary informed about the progress of your research at regular intervals.
